DESCRIPTION:\n\n \n \n\n\nRegister Here\nONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSES AT 5 PM ON 12/29/22\nONSITE REGISTRATION IS AVAILABLE ON 12/31/22 AT MANGO’S IN BETHANY BEACH\nTHERE WILL BE MINIMUM REGISTRATION AVAILABLE ON NEW YEAR’S DAY.\n \n\nMORE INFO \nRing in the 2023 New Year in the Quiet Resorts with a Run/Walk.  The Quiet Resorts Charitable Foundation (QRCF) proudly presents the 12th Annual Hair of the Dog 5K run/one mile walk!  The 5K and 1 Mile walk start at 10 AM.  Please join us in celebrating the 2022 Hair of the Dog 5k run/one mile walk – both LIVE and VIRTUALLY!   For the virtual option\, you can race anytime\, anywhere from November 15th to January 1st. All pre-registered (by December 2\, 2022)registrants will receive a commemorative long sleeve t-shirt with a cool refreshed design! \n \nOnline registration for these events closes Thursday\, December 29\, 2022\, at 5 PM.  Packet pick up will be on Saturday\, December 31\, 2022\, from 1 – 5 PM at Mango’s in Bethany Beach. There will be onsite registration on Friday\, however\, event shirts are not guaranteed. Register Here \n  \n \nHAIR OF THE DOG RACE HIGHLIGHTS \nHow It Works\n\nRegister – Choose your live or virtual event: 5K Run/Walk or 1 Mile Walk.\nVirtual Race – Walk or run ANY day from now until November 15th to January 1st. Use a fitness watch or smartphone app to track your distance and time. Take a picture of your record.\nShare – Submit your time and picture of your record. Submit your results. Share photos on Facebook and Instagram!\nLive Run/Walk – Register online before December 15\, 2022 and show up on New Years Day at the Bethany Beach boardwalk for the run or walk.\n\nLIVE  5K run or One Mile Walk\n\nRun/Walk along the streets of beautiful Bethany Beach\, DE and finishing on the boardwalk overlooking the Atlantic Ocean\nThe 5K is a chip timed event (chips are located on your bibs) by Races2Run Timing Systems\nDogs are allowed on the 1 Mile Walk Only\n\nRACE POLICY:\n\nRain or shine event\nWalkers permitted in the 1 Mile or 5K (No walker awards)\nDog with Owners are permitted in the 1 Mile walk only.  Please start in the back of the walkers\nPlease have “doggy doo doo” bags with you and all messes must be cleaned up by the Owner\nStrollers must start at the back of the 5K field\nThere are no refunds for any reason.\n\n\nLOCATION \nLIVE 5K or 1 Mile Walk – At the Boardwalk in downtown Bethany Beach\, Delaware\nVirtual 5K Run – Anywhere\, Anytime\n\nIn a park\nYour favorite residential route\nA high school track\nOn a treadmill\nRun one of the many trails in our beautiful state parks\n\nRun anywhere you want!
