DESCRIPTION:IMPORTANT UPDATE: Due to the weather forecast for tomorrow\, this event is being moved to the rain date of May 20\, 2023… same times and place! \n  \nCome one\, come all to the “Fit & Fun” Field Day\, a community fundraiser for Special Olympics of Delaware. On Saturday\, May 13\, from 11am-3pm everyone is invited to an exciting day of unified games and activities focused on having fun and being active. \nJoin us for field day games\, suitable for all ages and skill levels. We’ll have classic events like egg & spoon race\, tug-of-war\, and relay races\, as well as exciting attractions like an inflatable obstacle course and basketball game\, and the ever-popular dunk tank! \nBut the “Fit & Fun” Field Day isn’t just about competition – it’s also about community. Local students\, teachers\, Special Olympic athletes\, residents and visitors alike\, will have the opportunity to spend time together in friendly competition while supporting a great cause. Members of the Ocean View Police Dept. and Millville Vol. Fire Dept. will be onsite to meet & greet participants\, and DJ Mike will be playing your favorite hits! After working up an appetite\, you can purchase some healthy snacks\, lunch items\, and drinks from Kristina’s Kitchen\, Juicebox\, and Kona Ice. \nAll proceeds from this event will go to the Special Olympics of Delaware\, and your participation will help us make a difference in the lives of these athletes and their families. \nSo\, gather your friends\, family\, and coworkers\, and join us for this exciting event. Let’s make the 1st Annual “Fit & Fun” Field Day a huge success for the Special Olympics of Delaware! \n(A suggested $5 donation is welcome.
