DESCRIPTION:\n\n \n\n\n \n\n\nRegister Here\nONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSES AT NOON ON 12/30/24\nONSITE REGISTRATION IS AVAILABLE ON 12/31/24 from noon until 4PM AT MANGO’S IN BETHANY BEACH\nTHERE WILL BE MINIMUM REGISTRATION AVAILABLE ON NEW YEAR’S DAY.\n \n\nMORE INFO \nRing in the 2025 New Year in the Quiet Resorts with a Run/Walk and Plunge.  The Quiet Resorts Charitable Foundation (QRCF) proudly presents the 14th Annual Hair of the Dog 5K run/one mile walk and the 28th Annual Leo Brady Polar Plunge!  The 5K race and 1 Mile walk start at 10 AM after the Kiddie Dash.  The Leo Brady Polar Plunge is at Noon.  Please join us in celebrating the 2025 Hair of the Dog 5k run/one mile walk and Polar Plunge!   All pre-registered (by December 2\, 2024)registrants will receive a commemorative long sleeve tech t-shirt with a cool design in their desired size (unisex Tech Tee Shirts). \nNEW DESIGN for the 2025 SHIRT WILL BE LONG SLEEVE\, BRIGHT  YELLOW TECH TEE SHIRT. \n  \nOnline registration for these events closes Monday\, December 30\, 2024\, at NOON.  Packet pick up will be on Tuesday\, December 31\, 2024\, from Noon – 4 PM at Mango’s in Bethany Beach. There will be onsite registration on Tuesday\, however\, event shirts are NOT guaranteed unless you register by December 23rd.  We will host the popular Kiddie Dash just prior to the 5K start.  Registration is not required for the Kiddie Dash.  Event shirts for the Kiddie Dash participants should be purchased at the registration site. Register Here \n  \n \n2025 Participant's Guide\nView the 2025 Hair of the Dog – Leo Brady Plunge Participants Guide \n  \n \nHAIR OF THE DOG RACE HIGHLIGHTS \nHow It Works\n\nRegister – Choose your event: 5K Run or 1 Mile Walk\, Plunge or a combination run/plunge or walk/plunge.\nLive Run/Walk/Plunge – Register online before December 15\, 2024 and show up on New Years Day at the Bethany Beach boardwalk for the run\, walk\, plunge or combination run/plunge or walk/plunge.\nRun/Walk are at 10AM and the Plunge is at Noon on New Year’s Day.\n\nLIVE  5K run\, One Mile Walk\, Plunge\, or combination.\n\nRun/Walk along the streets of beautiful Bethany Beach\, DE and finishing on the boardwalk overlooking the Atlantic Ocean\nThe 5K is a chip timed event (chips are located on your bibs) by Races2Run Timing Systems\nDogs are allowed on the 1 Mile Walk Only\nSplash into the chilly Atlantic Ocean at Bethany Beach in the Leo Brady Plunge (you must have a wristband to participate in this event)\nTeam Boathouse plungers registration will include: Transportation to and from The Boathouse to the plunge\, breakfast\, Plunge registration\, Event shirt\, Team Boathouse giveaway(s)\, Liquid Courage\, and unlimited nacho bar.\n\nEVENT POLICY:\n\nRain or shine event for all events (with the exception of lightening)\nWalkers permitted in the 1 Mile or 5K (No walker awards)\nDog with Owners are permitted in the 1 Mile walk only.  Please start in the back of the walkers\nPlease have “doggy doo doo” bags with you and all messes must be cleaned up by the Owner\nStrollers must start at the back of the 5K field\nThere are no refunds for any reason as these are charitable events.\nAll Plungers must wear their wrist band to indicate affiliation with the event.\nWaivers must be signed for all participants.\nThere will be lifeguards and is a “swim”/plunge at your own risk event.\n\n\nLOCATION \nLIVE 5K or 1 Mile Walk – At the Boardwalk in downtown Bethany Beach\, Delaware\nRegistration\nOnline registration closes Sunday\, December 29\, 2024 at 5 pm.
