Grants

The QRCF has provided over $450,000 in grants to our partners in our community since our inception. The QRCF’s local community encompasses ten towns, spanning the Indian River Inlet, south to the MD state line, and from the eastern coast, west to Dagsboro. This servicearea includes: Bethany Beach, Clarksville, Dagsboro, Fenwick, Frankford, Millville, Ocean View, Roxana, Selbyville, and South Bethany.

All grant reviews occur on a quarterly basis. It is strongly encouraged and desired that any grant recipient from the QRCF continue to participate with the QRCF in our annual events such as the Hair of the Dog Run and Bunny Palooza. Without our fundraising events each year, the QRCF may be unable to provide further aid to the community. This fundraising is almost solely done by volunteers and we can always use your help. QRCF offers two grant options, mini grants and full grants, that are available to local non-profit and community service organizations in the above defined service area.

Full Grants

Full grants are for requests over $2,500. Full grant applications may be submitted at any time and are reviewed by the grant committee as they deem appropriate and as needed. Generally, grants of this size are part of a partnership with the QRCF either through fundraising efforts or in other ways that make sense for both organizations. Traditionally, larger grants have been awarded in conjunction with participation in our Annual Caribbean Christmas event. See Grant Award Schedule.

Mini Grants

“Mini-grants” are requests for funding amounts for up to $2,500. Mini-grant applications may be submitted at any time and are reviewed and awarded quarterly by the grant committee. See Grant Award Schedule.
